Willie Jack took what Jordan said into consideration. He didn't seem to want to talk about his abilities here, at Hinkles. She supposed she understood that. Not everyone was comfortable talking about their abilities in public, or having many people know who they were or what they could do.
She had just wanted to know if Jordan had the same sort of abilities as Conner was all.
So she nodded slightly at his words, "I get it, dude. I mean... I'm not sure I would want to talk about them in public, either." Especially if she were used to not talking about it in public. "Wouldn't want people to start taking advantage of you because of what you can do."
It made sense to her, at least.
"I can be your friend," she said. "I need more friends." Not that she wanted lots of friends. Just enough. A small number was good. "And if you're Conner's brother, you can't be that bad, right?" Though that wasn't technically true, she knew this.
