Lisa would never turn down someone in need. Unless that person happened to be a demon possessing a human. Then, there was nothing on the planet or in any universe that would coax Lisa into helping them. However, she didn't think Cameron was a demon. Demons usually said or did something to give themselves away, but, so far, Cameron had seemed blissfully human
Which was the only reason Lisa arranged to meet her with a pair of clean clothes and boots. Lisa couldn't only guess Cameron's size based on the network photo, but she felt like the girl was probably close to her size and, if not, she wasn't too far off. Lisa brought a belt just in case. Given Lisa's feet were average size, she felt pretty confident Cameron could wear the boots. Fingers crossed.
Once Mary had arrived to watch Charlie, Lisa hoped into her car and headed for the location she was to meet Cameron. Mary wasn't pleased with the idea and she forced Lisa to take one of her knives and a small thing of holy water just in case. Lisa had reluctantly stuffed the items in her purse, but she knew if she didn't, she wasn't leaving that house without a fight and all bets were on Mary for that win.
Spotting a face that resembled that of the girl on the network, Lisa pulled over and hopped out, bag of dry clothes in hand along with a plastic bag with some food and water bottles. Did she know the girl had a thousand dollars? Yes. But that money would go fast and if Lisa could give her something to fill her belly for free, well, she was going to do it.
"Hey. Cameron, right?" Lisa approached with a friendly smile on her face. "I'm Lisa. We talked on the network. I brought you some clothes and a few others thing."
