If Bruce had still been in Gotham then it was possible that he'd never bother dating. That he'd just focus on the Justice League and saving the world. His home life wouldn't consist of going out to dinner with someone or kissing them goodnight. Though, he knows that he didn't regret it. Not when he'd found happiness in Madison Valley.
Sure, the place was vastly different from Gotham but that was one of the reasons he liked it. Just as he liked where he lived. The Kents, even if they weren't the ones he knew, had been good to him. He also treated the children of the Kent home as his own niece and nephews, they'd become family. Even Alfred would've liked them.
When Lisbeth had invited him over he'd enjoyed their evening spent together. Bruce could've gone home that night but he hadn't. Instead, he'd stayed the night and spent time with Lisbeth. Even slept beside her. Something he hadn't thought they'd end up doing.
The day with her had been the only day that he hadn't gone for his morning run. Something he did at an ungodly hour. That didn't, however, mean that he slept it. Though he did hear her slip out of bed and gives a slight smile to himself.
Throwing on a pair of sweats he pads out toward the kitchen, even more so when the smell of coffee hits, and he can't help but give a smile. This? It was such a domesticated thing to do. It does not, however, stop him from moving over and kissing her cheek before properly kissing her.
