No, Inej, I know it's a lot. I do. But I'm barely holding myself together and sometimes it feels like you forget. The last year has changed me ~~and you. You're this amazing captain wrecking the business of slavers.~~ and I hadn't seen you, Kaz, Jes, or Wy in over a year.

The week was fine. I thought I was my king's little sister and hell bent on setting him up with my general. With a slight obsession with Coke, which doesn't seem too out of character. ;)

I guess you'll have to be okay with the speed. You can always ask Kaz for a little more, like trying to even cheek kiss for now.

That's good! And it seems like a solid next step. I'm not expecting the two of you to jump each other's bones, but a cheek kiss and a little hand holding doesn't seem completely out of reach.
