Alec looked like he was going to implode when she said the word tampon, though he didn't actually. He took off his glasses and wiped them nervously with the hem of his shirt.
Thankfully it seemed like the young lady wasn't pressing any further and his shoulders relaxed a little bit. "Oh, well now that sounds delicious. I've had a few from my next door neighbour and they're delicious." He could be biased since his neighbour was Mary, but he didn't say that. "Enid. It's nice to meet you. My name is Alec."
