Re: Ace and Nancy
Nancy watched him, and she hated that once again they had something keeping them apart. Well, okay, it was the same thing but she finally found herself with him for the second time as she now had her memories in tact and once again she lost him in a sense. It’d be nice if the new year allowed her some happiness with the man she loved, but she felt really asking that would only put it more in danger. A smile did appear on her lips at his joke about it being next-year’s problem. However, his comment about even just as friends caused her to pause for a moment. Every part of her was saying take it since the curse might still be attached to him, but a smaller part was also reminding her she only had one life now. “I’m fine with enjoying the night however you would like,” she threw the ball in his court since it was his life that was put on the line. Nancy knew the way they had broken the curse and she would talk to Hope to see if there was a way to determine whether the lack of attachment in her meant anything when it came Ace and the curse. “But yes, it’s the end of the year so how about we grab a drink and enjoy it,” she offered, hoping to turn her brain off for a few hours.
