Sophia nodded, although she didn't quite know what basic fare meant in this world, just what it meant for her parents and herself. Given they didn't have much money, and the money they did have (and some they didn't) were spent on Sophia for the ball, so she could find a husband.
"I think that would be best. I know reading, obviously, and Cinderella's story, plus some history, but history from my world." And if you asked Sophia, her world's history was all based upon Cinderella, or the version that men wanted them to know, like the Evil Stepsisters.
"Wherever. I don't mind." If Sophia got to actually learn, she really wouldn't complain where.
A nod. "Alright." Again, she wouldn't complain. Sophia commented, "I hope my parents aren't in trouble." For as frustrated as she was with her parents and their inability (or unwillingness) to save her, Sophia loved them.
