Who: Shawn & Juliet What: Juliet’s not feeling quite like herself. When: Halloween Night [Backdated!] Where: At home. Rating: Mediumish considering she becomes Sarah Sanderson, so mentions of children being delicious.
Juliet was looking forward to an evening full of fun this Halloween. While it wasn’t her favorite holiday, she did enjoy it, and this place made it even more fun. How could it not be with all the different people roaming around daily? Only made the holiday more exciting or at least, she thought so. After having debated more than enough over the last few weeks, she finally decided to dress up as Sarah Sanderson from Hocus Pocus, thinking it was a little hilarious.
At that moment, she had no idea where her husband was, figuring he’d text or pop up at some point. Her game plan was to hand out candy for a bit, then go see about helping where needed at the haunted house. All dressed up, and honestly, she thought she looked good, she moved back into the kitchen to get the candy into the bowl that she had bought at the store.
Feeling weird, Juliet brushed it off for the moment before the feeling got even stronger. A smile burst over her lips, glancing down at herself before jumping up and down all excited to be back. Juliet was definitely not herself anymore. “I’m back!” She called out, bouncing in excitement to be alive again. Realizing she did not recognize the place, she slowed her bouncing all confused as to where she was. Or better yet, the jump back from a device that was vibrating, and a name popping up on it. She tossed something at it as if that was going to make it stop; however, it did, excited at how she figured it out all on her own and without her sister's help.

Shawn had dressed up as the 1985 Teen Wolf main character Scott Howard which meant he required a lot of time with spirit gum and fake fur. Of course, if anyone asked him, he was just a 80s werewolf, but to him and to Jules, they knew the reference. It was funny to Shawn because of all the modern Teen Wolf people running around. He emerged from the bathroom in time to hear ‘I’m back!’ but it didn’t entirely sound like Jules? Weird, but not entirely weird. “Jules?” He came into the living room to find Juliet dressed as Sarah which - hot - but also her expression looked a little… vacant? “Everything okay?”
–
Juliet or well Sarah now froze when she heard a man’s voice say a weird name that she never heard before. Did he bring her back somehow? Not even five minutes back and she already had a new plaything! If her sisters weren’t here, they couldn’t ruin her fun time. At least, not until they found her and took her new potential pet away from her. Already thinking about potential new games that were fun to her…less likely to be fun for her new pet, her thoughts changed quickly at the sight of who or whatever that was. Instead, she screamed at the sight of the thing that came out of the room. She kept the big table that seemed stuck in the floor between her and whatever that thing was. Considering some of the past incidents…or more like fun that her sisters and she had, it was possible that they did this. Thinking that thought lit a light blub up in her head all of a sudden how that must be it! “Someone got punished for being loud,” she said in a sing-song-type voice. “Don’t worry, I’ll have plenty of fun with you while you learn your lesson!” Sarah said with a bounce, returning to her excitement at her hairy new play toy and all the items that she could bring into the fun. Or at least, she could once she figured out what most of the items were. –
Shawn had never known Juliet to cosplay and so this was completely out of her norm. Normally he’d all be for some roleplay, but his Spencer-sense was tingling. There was just something in the way she moved and spoke that made him think different. “Oh-kay…” He blinked.
“Why does this feel familiar?” He mumbled it to himself. He looked back to his wife. “Pop Quiz - have any siblings and do you know what an air fryer is?”
– Sarah sighed, resting her upper half on the object in front of her that was like a table, bored already with all the questions. Not that there was that many, but she didn’t want any of this pop quiz whatever that was. It sounded like something that was going to hurt her brain! Wait, why was she letting him make the calls? She had the power and he was just her new hairy pet until her sisters or more Winifred found him.
“Yes…didn’t we do this to you?” Her tone laced with confusion but then her face showed the clear confusion on her face at his second question. “Does it fry the air? Air fryer,” she said, slowly as if feeling the word in her word and that by saying it herself it would come to her. “Oooo is it a way to hurt people?” She asked, glancing around to find this air fryer. Before moving over to pick up a strange item that had a bunch of buttons. “Is this the air fryer?” It was a little heavy and she wondered what type of damage it could do. Smiling at the idea of the possible damage this air fryer could do to people. –
There was a pause before Shawn spoke again. “While I’d normally be over the moon that you’ve gone all Sarah Jessica Parker, I’d have preferred more of the Carrie variety.” Mostly because Sarah Sanderson would probably be okay with murder and Carrie would not.
When she went for the machine, he moved forward to it. “It is. It makes delicious wings of birds.” He made it sound magical and interesting, though Shawn managed not to do jazz hands… yet.
– Nothing that was coming out of her new toy’s mouth made any sense to her and was hurting her brain. A look of confusion was clear as day on her face, and she was now starting to get bored and upset with how he was confusing her. She got that enough from her older sister and did not need it from Wolfy. Sarah was about ready to throw the object in her hands at him to see what would happen but stopped at what he said. “How?” She asked, setting it back down and hitting it as if the object was going to do what he just said. Only for her focus to drift onto something else when a knock at the door happened causing her to freeze. “What’s that?” Her eyes looked in the direction of where the noise had come from, waiting for her sisters to come barging in. Then Winifred would yell at her for something that probably had to do with wolfy cause, yes, that’s now what she decided was her new pet's name. Who was cute, but would be even cuter when he was screaming in pain later. –
Uh oh. Those were probably children. Shawn’s eyes darted to the door, then to ‘Sarah’, then to the door again, then to ‘Sarah’. Yeah… this wasn’t good. “It’s my automatic door knocking spell. I like the sound. It’s calming. You know. ‘Knock knock’. See how calming it is? It’s like the start of a fun song too. Really puts me in the mood.” He was trying to figure out a way to keep his wife from doing anything really bad while she was an ‘evil’ witch, though he always thought that part was a bit ambiguous for Sarah. Like, could you be truly evil if you were child-like and dumb? Who knew.
“So, about the fried chicken…” Though the kids knocked again.
– Sarah’s eyes were on the door that she didn’t even notice the wolf man looking between her and the door. Even if she had, Sarah probably wouldn’t have thought much about it unlike if it had been one of her sisters. “You can do magic?” Her attention span moving away from the door for the moment. The fact this man might be able to do magic could be very useful, and maybe then she could persuade her sister to let her keep him, especially if he did as they said. “What else can you do? Can you make it a different sound?” Her eyes lit up with excitement, curious to see what her new pet could do. The door being quiet allowed her to be easily distracted away from that noise.
Her thoughts returning to that weird term fried chicken until the noise started up again. Her attention shifted off that as she once again got distracted only this time it was the door. This time, she bounced over to where the noise was coming from and figured out how to open the door to see a bunch of delicious children. Her eyes lit up at the sight of all these young children who had come to her. “Hello,” she said, biting her bottom lip and bouncing even more at the sight because she didn’t even need to do anything to get them to come to her. Where were her sisters? This was much easier than the last time. Their confusing trick-or-treat brought a confused look as she moved back. “Come see wolfy. He’s so cute!” Sarah offered, unsure of the best way to keep the kids here until she could find her sisters. Maybe she could get her pet to keep them busy while she went to find them or send wolfy to smell them out.
—
“No, no, nope. Nada. It’s okay.” He meant the kids coming in. He saw the look of concern from the parents who were off to the side. Shawn grabbed the whole bowl they had filled with candy and tossed it over the kids’ heads. “Enjoy!” Then he closed the door.
Thankfully he was used to thinking fast. He looked at ‘Sarah’. “I have a great idea. Way better than anything else. I know a room where we can cast a cool spell and go wherever we want in the world and see animals and do fun things! It’s a very powerful spell. Do you want to see it?” Shawn thought he could distract Sarah indefinitely if he brought her to the Holosuite.
– Before Sarah could do anything to stop wolfy or the kids from leaving, the door was closed and she cried out in frustration over losing those delicious children. Her sisters were going to kill her! “Bad wolfy! They were to be a treat once we found my sisters!” She hissed at him, which was better than what her sister was going to do once she heard how Sarah’s new pet chased away what was going to be easy access to children after the difficult time they had before.
Shawn was lucky in that Sarah was the easiest of the sisters to distract and get focused on something else. Much easier when she was on her own and that the new offer was enticing that it made her forget about the original thoughts in her mind. For the moment, the children that had been at the door and her sisters were put to the side on hearing about magic and what sounded like some very powerful magic. Nothing like she had ever seen or done before. Her excitement showing as she already had some twisted ideas in mind for places and fun things they could do. “Yes! I want to see this!” Her mind already forgetting for the moment about what she had been wanting to do, which was probably going to land her in trouble later.
