WHO: Jason Grace and OPEN WHAT: Working WHEN: Today, Black Friday WHERE: Walmart WARNINGS: TBD, probably not
Jason had wanted a job to make money to buy Christmas presents for his friends. He was a hard worker, had a good work ethic, and liked people for the most part. He thought the job that he got at Walmart would be a good one, something he could do, and something he might even like.
Clearly, he'd been very, very mistaken and working your first few days in retail on Black Friday weekend was not something he was prepared for.
He'd faced down Titans and monsters, and somehow, that was less terrifying than today had been so far. It was afternoon now, so thankfully the day was starting to slow down, leaving Jason to stock the shelves that had been wiped empty in the past few hours. Having survived the craziness, he was sweaty and tired, and was starting to get to the limits of his patience. Some of the things he'd heard from customers, some of the questions they'd asked had just been way too much and his head was starting to pound.
And of course, since he was Jason, and since he was amazingly stressed, he was occasionally sparking with electricity. He was trying to get control of it, but he clearly wasn't succeeding.
Kneeling on the floor, he was filling the shelves, hoping he could have at least a few minutes to himself to get control.
