Who: Johanna Mason and Open What: Drinking and thinking When: Monday evening Where: Lou's Warnings: TBA Status: Open/On-going
Johanna didn't often think about how long she'd been in town, or at least she didn't stop to really think about it. It usually just came up while telling people about how the place was. A glance at the calendar that morning had told her she was just a few days shy of a decade and that... well, that one had her thinking.
For all that she was from Panem, Madison Valley had become home in ways that Panem had never been and could never be. By this point, she'd spent a third of her life under the dome. It'd taken some time to adjust at first, but she'd quickly realized that she liked it a hell of a lot better -- in large part because of the people she'd met.
So many of whom were gone now. In some ways she was used to it, in other ways she'd never be used to it. Johanna had a lot of very complicated feelings about the place sometimes.
She was avoiding said complicated feelings for the moment, though, and was instead just hanging out at Lou's. It was a Madison Valley staple at this point, so it seemed fitting to be there. Plus it didn't hurt that one of her best friends was the manager there. The occasional free drink was always a good thing.
sighing, Johanna took a sip of her drink as she looked around. So many familiar faces, and some newer ones. Just like any other night.
