Karl needed coffee with how the day had been going. Or rather the day, the night, and day again. The werewolf didn't sleep well on a regular basis. He'd never feel quite relaxed after his years living as a mutt and, while he regretted very little of the actions he took in his life, the last few weeks Logan Jonsen popped into his dreams. So one of his few regrets decided to appear in his dreams, after not thinking about him for over a year.
On top of which, Nita didn't understand the rising sun and setting sun on a four hour cycle and even Karl found it a bit much. At least he'd run two nights ago, so it wouldn't fuck with him too much. He'd decided to take Nita to the park and maybe get them both treats. A few pastries, an egg and bacon sandwich, and a large dark roast for him and an apple juice for Nita.
She started to cry again and Karl's heart hurt for his daughter. Though she was a year and a half, she still liked to cuddle. "I know baby girl. I don't like it either. Do you want me to push you on the swing?" The baby swing, but still. Nita didn't respond, but merely held her bottle of apple juice, taking a sip. So, Karl held her on his lap, sipping his coffee while Nita leaned against her father.
