Re: Suzume and Lois
Lois took note of the tap on her left. Okay, so that gave her a direction to make sure Zu ran in once she got the clown off them even if it was only a few minute distraction. A few moments was better than nothing, especially when the thing kept matching their steps.
Thankfully, Lois was a pro at knowing how to work her phone and get where she needed to go without even looking. She had opened the camera, knowing her flash was on from earlier when she had taken some photos. Before she could do anything, she felt the tug from Zu again. Her eyes drifted from the clown to look at Zu, then in the direction that she wanted to go. Lois glanced over to see the lights, confused, but she’d go with it to see what the girl was thinking.
While her eyes were off the clown, it took the opportunity to swipe at Lois. Her attention shot right back at it and she lifted her hand with the phone, taking a photo to blind him for a moment. That moment allowed them to get a small space between the two as she held up her phone to do it again if it got too close. “Let me know when to stop,” Lois said softly to her, unsure what the girl was thinking, but trusting her as they headed back towards the lights.
