Sam and Chloe - Saturday
Sam knew he was far too jaded for these kinds of things. The stuff that scares a ‘normal’ person had been his daily routine for decades of his life. There weren’t very many scary things that bothered him anymore, as he had seen it all. Well, except clowns. He thought he had been making strides with the stuff if his nightmares since he had faced them more than once, but, no. They were still as prominent on his short list of fears as they ever had been. He was kind of dreading going to this place tonight because of that, and he hoped there would be no clowns anywhere, because he really wanted to do something fun with Chloe and start to get over his distaste of Halloween.
He held on to Chloe’s hand and made sure they were in a group together, and looking around he recognized none of the faces he saw with them. He was enjoying himself though. They’d had a fun day together earlier, doing some shopping and seeing a scary movie that was actually funny. He was getting into this Halloween vibe. “Have you ever been to one of these before?” He actually hadn’t. He had been to numerous haunted houses, and there was that one time at the circus when it was closed, but nothing like this. The Tv turned in and startled him and Sam chuckled at himself as he heard it talking about the history of the place.
