The impact felt clumsy, not like an attack, so Lucas didn't pull out any of the defensive magic he had. Not that he was an incredibly powerful sorcerer or anything to start with, but he could do knock-back spells and some witch magic perfectly fine. Thankfully, there'd been no need.
A young man about Savannah's age stood before him, and he nodded slightly. He was not one to show his emotions freely, especially around someone he didn't know well.
