Rebekah dared many things and given she was an original vampire, there were very few that denied her anything. Calling someone by that title was more out of habit than anything at this point. Kol did much the same.
Guardian? Rebekah frowned and accepted the papers from the young woman. Her blue eyes skimmed the text. Unbeknownst to Rebekah, she'd been given a ward named Katharine. Even though it was pronounced differently than Katherine, the little bit of irony was not lost on Rebekah. The blond glanced up at her again.
"So I am. This place certainly doesn't like to give one an actual 'heads up.'" Rebekah sighed and stepped aside, waving the young woman inside with a pale hand, red nails reflecting in the dim lighting. "Come on in, love. We may as well get you settled and then out to shopping. You're going to need something to wear." And Rebekah was certain she would not fit into anything she owned.
