Ariana had said far more than that. Or, at the very least, that's what it had felt like anyway. Their daughter had mentioned that they were together and happy as a family. Hell... she'd mentioned that Pogue had his last name. That still threw him off. The idea that they were happily married. He knows, too, that Pogue was probably having a hard time expressing all of this. Which... was understandable really.
Had he thought about all of this before Ariana said anything? "I have thought about all of this before she said anything." The only reason why he'd never said anything, though, was due to him and Pogue having girlfriends at the time. They'd been happy with other people. On top of that? He hadn't wanted to ruin their friendship.
The last thing he wanted was to ruin the friendship that he had with Pogue.
