Oliver knew that Madison seemed to be safe most of the time, but he also didn't want to allow himself go. He wanted to keep up with his training, so that if anything was to come up, he would be able to do his part. So, he had made sure to include some archery practice in his daily routine, but unlike back home, he made sure that this training didn't interfere with his family life. He was determined to have more balance in this new life, and to be there for his daughter and Nikita. He had messed up the first time around, but for him that had been one of the good things about arriving in Madison. Now he had the chance to make things right and create a better life for him and his family. Of course, he would be happy if his other child were to show up here as well. But he was determined to be thankful for what he did have. His morning routine was rather simple, even for him; he started out with a healthy smoothie and then he went for a nice run. And then three days a week, he made his way out to the wooded area near the edge of town with his archery gear and had some practice time. It just so happened that this was one of those days, so after his run, he packed up his gear and then headed out of his apartment. Of course, he could have driven, but as he often did, he chose to walk because it allowed him to enjoy a little more time outside, and he got in even more of a workout. The commute didn't take him long at all, and once he arrived, he set up the targets he liked to use and then he picked up his bow. A full of quiver of arrows on his back, he turned to face the targets on the other end of the field. He drew an arrow and fired, hitting dead center as always. He emptied the quiver, even pulling off a few trick shots. Now he would have to go collect his own arrows, so he slung his bow across his back and headed towards the targets. |
