Liz was nervous and anxious and probably a million other things as she walked over to Peter's house. She'd been here long enough to know this kind of thing happened, but it never happened to her. No, that wasn't entirely true - one time Max's child with Tess had shown up and Liz had had to take care of the boy. She tried not to think of that too much.

The five year old girl was skipping beside her mother. She had brown hair like both her parents, but every once in a while the child would do a series of cartwheels and flips that told Liz she took after Peter a lot.
