Who: Miles Morales and OPEN What: Exploring the weird daytime night When: 11pm Where: Around town Rating: low
While weirder things had happened in town since he arrived (like the whole town going from Earth to this other planet with two suns) it was still kind of freaky that he could walk around at 'night' in broad daylight. His body felt weird too. It was like his body wasn't sure if it should be tired or not. Like it knew it had been up for 14 hours already, but there was nothing to hint that it was time to rest.
He was in a hoodie and jeans as he walked down the street. He mostly did this so he could have his Spider-Man suit on underneath - just in case this weird happening turned into the need for superhero saving. Miles might have been missing the whole helping people thing and while he knew it was wrong to wish for some 'excitement', he missed being Spider-Man a lot.
So far he counted three crying children who looked overtired and a handful of irritated adults.
He turned the corner and paused. There was a shop owner pressure-washing the side of his building. Aw man, I worked hard on that mural. He was going to have to find better places, he guessed.
Suddenly his Spidey-sense went off. He turned around to look for what was causing it and saw a person on a bike nodding off. How did you nod-off on a bicycle?! The person was also about to run into one of those children that were crying. He flicked out his hand and sent a string of web on the bike seat, pulling it back just before it made contact. Knowing the person would fall off the bike from that, he sent a second web to the person and the lamppost above person. The person was lifted up off the bike and bounced gently a few times before going still - the person was still asleep. Miles walked over and placed the bike next to the poll and looked up at the sleeping person. "You should definitely take a nap before biking again. Or driving too."
Exhaling, but feeling kind of good for doing what he did, he turned away from the incident. It definitely felt weird he did it without his mask on. It had just happened though and there had been no time. Plus logically he knew it was 'fine' to be 'out' here, even if it still felt wrong. Which meant he was glancing around to see if anyone else noticed what happened.
