Ianto was settling into Madison, and he knew that one of the reasons it had been so easy for him was because Jack had already been there. Something about having Jack around seemed to make any place feel like home. Of course, it helped that Ianto hadn't been really close with any of his other family before joining the new Torchwood. But Jack also had managed to find this place in his heart that no one had ever reached before. As always Ianto was determined to take care of Jack and find some way to show the other man just how much he loved him. Fortunately, it had always came naturally to him; the whole taking care of others thing and putting them first. So, doing it in this new location hadn't even been an issue. In the spirit of taking care of Jack, he had decided to go get dinner for the two of them and bring it back to their room. Honestly, Ianto preferred to dine in with Jack, because he wasn't the type to like an audience. While he didn't mind spending time with their friends, he also enjoyed having some alone time with Jack and dining in their room was the perfect way to do that. Also, it meant that they could go right to cuddling after they finished eating, and that was Ianto's favorite part of the day. He had already picked up the Chinese food and was making his way back to the Tardis. So, he texted Jack to let him know that he was on his way back with dinner. Fortunately, Ianto now knew all of the routes really well, so it didn't take him long at all. Finally, he made his way into the room with the bags of food in hand. He headed straight for the small table they kept in the room for this very reason and be sat everything down. He wasn't sure where Jack was just yet, but he knew that he couldn't be far away. |
