Clawdeen did like this new world, and having Crescent and Deuce here certainly made it feel more like home. But she had been thinking a lot about her dad recently; the two of them had always been so close. So, being here without him certainly felt strange somehow. She liked Elijah a lot, so it had nothing to do with that. One of the things that she missed the most was their family nights in, so she had asked Elijah to have a movie night with her. She knew that it wasn't something he did, so the fact that he agreed to her plans made her feel very honored. She was determined to make this the best movie night she had ever arranged, because she certainly wanted there to be more of these. While some people might not see this side of him, Clawdeen loved spending time with Elijah. She finished her shower and threw on some comfortable pajamas before making her way back downstairs. Of course, Crescent was right behind her. In Clawdeen's mind Crescent was family too, so she would always been included in these kinds of things. She was so grateful that Elijah was okay with Crescent being here, because a life without the little cub just didn't appeal to the young werewolf. Having learned that Elijah didn't really need to consume human food, she wasn't really sure what to do for their little night in. In the end she had decided to order a pizza, even using some of her allowance to pay for it. She knew that the food would be arriving soon, so she made her over to the couch to wait on the delivery boy. She knew that Elijah needed to finish up some of his work for the day, so she left him to that and knew that he would join her when he was ready. One thing she was sure about with Elijah was that he was a man of his word, so if he said he would join her then he would. And she was patient for her age, learning at an early age that sometimes the best things in life were worth the wait. |
