Who: Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones
What Reunited.
Where: By both of the TARDISes in the park.
When: Wednesday, May 31, evening.
Warnings: TBD.

Jack had started going back to work -- he needed something to keep his mind of Ianto's disappearance. Something other than hiding in Ten's TARDIS and drinking himself into oblivion every night. He was fully aware that the Tenth Doctor knew he was using that TARDIS to hide and sulk and he was grateful he had been allowed to do so. He had allowed his presence to be know because he knew the others would come looking for him if they had no idea where he was.

That, and he knew the TARDIS would tell someone he was there eventually.

As he made his way home after work, he was debating which TARDIS to sleep in that night. He hadn't been able to bring himself to go into the room he'd shared with Ianto, but he still stayed in either of the police boxes, depending on his mood.

Then, as he approached, he spotted a very familiar form standing between both of the TARDISes. "...Ianto?" It couldn't be... could it? But it seemed to be that it was. Jack couldn't help but wrap his arms around Ianto once he got close enough, pulling him into a tight hug. "Ianto," he said, softly, his voice full of emotion.

Ianto had been trying to get his bearings after his recent arrival in Madison. Of course, as a member of Torchwood he had seen a lot of crazy things, so it wasn't easy to throw him off his game. But being stuck here and not be able to work out a way home was troubling him a little. And then there was the fact that he hadn't been able to find any of his friends as of yet. So, the best thing he could come up with was getting to know his surroundings and perhaps he would run into some of his teammates.

He had been stationary, having a good look around when he heard the sound of a familiar voice calling his name. He didn't need to question further who he was, because Jack pulled him into a hug, and he knew right away that he had been right about his guess. The scent was all too familiar to him, so he happily returned the hug. Honestly, he was grateful to see that Jack was here. He cared for all of his friends, but a world without Jack just wasn't the world for him.

After a few moments, he leaned back from the hug and looked into Jack's eyes. "Where are we?" he asked, having no clue that Jack had been here longer than him. He just assumed that they had been taken at the same time, but separated upon arrival.

Jack clung to Ianto as long as the other man allowed. He hadn't been well when Ianto had been sent home and now that he was back? He didn't want to let him go. He knew what was to happen to his lover back home and he didn't wish that fate on anyone. Especially the one Jack loved so deeply.

There was a soft sigh when Ianto pulled back from the hug, though Jack knew he couldn't cling to him forever. He knew there would be questions, especially since the other didn't seem to remember being here before. Arriving in Madison Valley the same day as Jack those years ago.

"We're in a town called Madison Valley, Indiana," he started. "Martha is here, as well as two versions of The Doctor. Owen was here for a while but got sent home. So was Clara." So were you. "...I suppose that explains the two versions of the TARDIS being here."

Then he found that he couldn't resist anymore, couldn't not. He leaned in and pressed a firm, longing kiss against the man's lips. "Don't leave me again," he murmured.

Ianto normally wasn't a very physical affectionate person, but with Jack things were different. He would allow Jack to do things that no one else had been permitted to do with him, even Lisa. The way Ianto felt about Jack had changed everything for him, and Ianto was completely fine with it. This also meant that Ianto liked to think that he understood Ianto in ways that most other people didn't. So, he recognized the sigh and knew that Jack wanted the embrace to continue.

But since he did want to find out what was going on, he listened to what Jack said about where they were. But it also didn't take long before Jack was pulling him in and kissing him with enough passion to bowl the man over. Of course, Ianto welcomed, and he even allowed his body to press completely against Jack's.

Ianto noticed the longing in the other man's words and Ianto knew that Jack had been dealing with his something here that wasn't normal. But Ianto made a promise to himself that he wouldn't ever leave Jack again if he could help it. "I am all yours" he promised, knowing that he had every intention of keeping that promise.

He was glad Ianto had so willingly returned his kiss. He would have devastated if he hadn't. To have gotten Ianto back with him only to not want kisses or affection from him... he wouldn't have handle that well at all. Likely less well than he handled Ianto's returning home to his death.

"I have been staying in the TARDIS. ...both of them, recently, but I have room in one that I've been staying in more often. You'll stay with me, right?" He would be okay if Ianto didn't want to stay in the same room, but he would prefer him to stay in the TARDIS at least.

Though, he would not make him do anything he didn't want to do. He never would.

"I'll tell you everything there is to know about this place. I have been here three years. It's a lot."

Ianto listened as the other man spoke, a small smile appearing on his face as he did. Something about Jack just made Ianto feel safe, comfortable and happy. Somehow, he knew that Jack would always be there for him, and even though neither of them were big on words, he knew that Jack cared for him in a way that no one else ever had.

"All I want is to be where you are" he replied, his tone showing hints of emotions. For him that was huge, because he usually was the master at keeping himself contained and controlled. But Jack always knew how to get him to let loose.

"So, of course I will stay with you....in the same room, if you'll have me" he added, showing what he truly wanted.

"I am just glad you're here".

"Of course I'll have you in the same room, Ianto," Jack told the man. "I wouldn't want it any other way." Of course, if Ianto had been against the idea, Jack would have obliged. He would do anything for the man. He leaned in and kissed the man softly.

"There are some things I think I should tell you, though. A few things you should probably know." Jack knew this was going to take a lot of explanation, but he also knew that Ianto deserved nothing but the truth.

"You were here before. We arrived at the same time, about three years ago. Shortly after you died back home. ...we lived together in the TARDIS. Owen was here for a while, too."

It appeared as though he was avoiding one topic, though. He knew he needed to tell him, so he just came out and said, "We got married here. A few years ago."

As always Ianto welcomed the affection from Jack, leaning into the kiss. He couldn't help but to smile against the other man's lips, because Jack once again had given the very answer that he wanted to hear. Sharing a room with Jack was always preferrable in his mind to any other option. So, this place was already looking better than he could have hoped for.

When the kiss ended, Ianto saw the look on Jack's face turn serious and he instantly became concerned. He didn't like the thought of Jack being upset about anything, and of course, the first thing that came to his mind was how he could go about making things better for the man he loved so much.

So, he listened to what Jack needed to say, because clearly that other man wanted to get it off his chest. Of course, Jack had been right. It was a lot to take in, but he also knew how crazy their lives could sometimes. So, he wasn't about to blame Jack for any of it. He knew Jack's words were true though, because if he had been here before, he would have jumped at the chance to marry Jack.

"Married, huh? And then I vanished. No wonder you were so upset" he replied, embracing Jack once again in the desire to comfort him.

"It was like a piece of my heart had gotten ripped out," Jack admitted. He didn't like to talk about his feelings to anyone, but Ianto was different. Ianto was the love of his life, he would talk to the man about anything and everything.

He wrapped his arms around the man, pulling him in for a tight hug. He appreciated the fact that Ianto was willing to comfort him like this -- he knew the other was not always big on public displays.

Then again, it was a hug, and Ianto knew how much Jack had been hurting. So it made sense.

"Come on, I'll show you our room. ...I will have the Doctor give you a key once I find her. The key will let you in to either TARDIS. Neither Doctor will mind you in their TARDIS at all."

Neither of the men had been the type to discuss their feelings very easily, but for Ianto talking to Jack was much easier than it was with anyone else. Even being open with Lisa had been hard for him, and that was one of the ways that he knew that things with Jack were different. He had cared for Lisa very much, but he hadn't felt this same kind of love for her. Jack was the only one that truly held his heart, and Ianto was okay with that.

Ianto welcomed the hug, as always being more open with Jack than he was with anyone else. He nuzzled into Jack's arms, allowing himself to take comfort in from the embrace as well. Something about being in Jack's arms made everything feel alright again, and he only hoped that Jack felt the same way about him.

"Lead the way, handsome" he replied, but in that moment, he decided to have a little fun with Jack, because it seemed like Jack could use a little bit of cheering up. He reached down and gave Jack's rear a bit of a pat and headed off towards the Tardis, knowing that the other man would chase after him.

Jack smirked slightly as he felt Ianto's hand on his ass, even for just a brief moment. He had definitely missed that feeling. And it encouraged him to follow Ianto toward the TARDIS. Once they arrived at the door of the TARDIS they were to be living in, he stopped behind the other man. He pressed a kiss against the back of his neck as his hand snaked around him so he could unlock the door for the two of them.

"Down the hall and to the right, gorgeous," he said, softly. His voice husky. He desperately wanted the other man, and he was not shy in allowing the other to know that.

He was going to make sure Ianto enjoyed his first night in the TARDIS.
