Who: Hermann Gottlieb and Open What: Just a quick trip to run an errand When: Wednesday morning Where: The library Warnings: TBA Status: Open
He didn't have classes until later in the day, which meant Hermann was taking advantage of that fact to be productive. Quick run to the grocery store, then stopping at the library to return a couple books. But Hermann being who he was, he managed to get distracted by books in pretty short order. Anybody who knew him wouldn't be all that surprised.
Though point in his favor, at least he was only getting distracted by the display of newer books and not the library as a whole. That was a surprising improvement over his usual getting lost in the stacks, something even he was amused by. Just an example of how he'd actually relaxed over his years in town, apparently, because getting him to be amused by himself was much less of a feat now.
It was only about twenty minutes before he'd found everything that interested him -- he was notoriously picky, something that hadn't changed all that much over the years -- and was turning to head for the library checkout. And, as was the way of the universe so often, he almost ran into someone. Almost being the key word.
"Apologies," he said, giving something that was at least reasonably close to an apologetic smile. An achievement for him.
