Josie had wanted to broaden her horizons and she thought one of the ways she could do that was finally allow herself to delve into some of her more artistic pursuits. She knew that Klaus was an artist, so she thought that he might be willing to help her out in the are if she was nice enough about it. After all, he was her best friend's father, so she thought it might be time to play the Hope card. She had sent him a message asking him to meet her at the creamery after school, because it was one of the times that she was free. Hopefully she would have just enough time to rush home, drop her school bags off and then make it back to the creamery. She didn't like leaving herself so little time, but she also hadn't wanted to skip out on last period, even if they were only watching a film that day. Fortunately, she hadn't hit any snags and she made it back to the creamery with a little time to spare. She decided to order herself a soda while she waited on him, because she was parched after her long trek back. So, with soda in hand, she made her way over to the table nearest to do the door, so that she could watch for him to arrive. She didn't like the idea of anyone being able to sneak up on her, but she still stood by what she had told him. She wasn't afraid of him like so many others seemed to be, because she knew that there was good in him. Anyone that could be a part of creating Hope had to be an amazing person, and no one was going to convince her otherwise. Josie's phone was stored safely in her pocket, because she wanted to be more alert to her surroundings. And she wasn't one of those kids that felt the need to have the thing in her hand all the time. So, every time she heard the door open, she looked up to see if it could be him walking in the door. |
