Thorin had actually spent a good portion of his day out and about in the town exploring some. He had decided that spending most of his time in the house couldn't be good for him. After all, he was used to constantly being on the go. So, sitting still in the house had been driving him a little crazy to a degree, and it finally occurred to him that perhaps that was reason that he had been having so much trouble settling in.
Due to spending most of the day out, he had been pretty tired himself when he had finally made it home. So, he had elected to take a shower before settling in the for the night. That was one of the things he had liked about this place right away. Those hot showers really were amazing, and that was something that he would never complain about.
Once he had finished with his shower, he made his way downstairs only to notice that Bilbo had been sleeping on the couch. Right away, he felt bad for waking the young Hobbit. Clearly, he had been tired and he needed his rest.
The way this place kept time was a little strange to him, but he looked at the thing they called a clock and then turned back to Bilbo. "I believe they would say 6pm" he replied.
