It was a beautiful day and Wynonna decided to take advantage of the nice weather by taking her daughter out for a walk. Nearly eight months old, Alice was growing ever more curious about the world around her and it was surprisingly fun to watch her discover new things. Seeing the wonder and innocence in her daughter's expressions made all of the fighting and pain that Wynonna experienced in her own life worth it.
Alice was in her stroller, babbling her baby talk, as they walked through the park and Wynonna was thinking about her sister and how they could best support her since it was clear she was still struggling. A delighted shriek from her daughter pulled her out of her thoughts and she looked up to see what attracted Alice's attention, shocked to find a woman giving her horse a drink of water. Wynonna did not expect to see a horse in the middle of the park.
"Do you want to go see the horse?" she asked Alice, pushing the stroller closer to the fountain. "Hello," she greeted the other woman with a friendly smile.
