Conner nodded, but it was pretty obvious home and apartment ownership was over his head. He really didn't know what to think about all that. Maybe that was something he should want, but for the time being he just wanted to not feel one hundred percent awkward in his own skin. He'd settle with that.
Another nod. "Later might be good." He wasn't sure how he was supposed to react, so he'd wait and see how everything played out. "He seems to want to know me...which is a change." He admitted with a small smile as he followed the que and stepped inside the restaurant. It all smelled good, he was hungrier than he realized. He'd not exactly eaten much for the last few days, though not for lack of Clark and Lois trying. Mostly due to his own nerves.
"Yeah. I like that plan." He needed something before he'd be able to understand any of what was happening.
