Conner acknowledged that with a nod. "Just a vibe I get." He didn't know the man very well, obviously. Dick was the one he knew, and that was only partially. Maybe there he'd get a chance to know him more too. "That's a lot to remember." Conner was no slouch or anything when it came to intelligence, but their world was so full of nuance it was hard to navigate sometimes for him. Surface level was easier, but he wasn't about to admit it. He just nodded and listened.
"Oh. A house is better?" He had no idea when it came to living quarters. He'd only ever experienced the Tower. But now they didn't have it, so apparently he was going to experience Clark's. "Clark's house is..spacious. It's a lot. But..there are a lot of people there. Clark, Lois, a girl named Laura. It feels different to the tower." More of a small community feeling, or family. But Conner wasn't quite ready to take it to the family word yet.
"I know. Based on what I've seen she seems trust worthy." But Conner often had a hard time figuring out who was and wasn't. He would be looking to Dick for that information a lot of the time. "...So I should trust Clark?" Speaking of needing confirmation. He was more insecure in that section than one might think, given his literal steel grip. He was physically strong, but other areas he lacked experience.
