"It really would be nice to see them again," Bilbo agreed. "As long as it is your kin and not mine." He didn't dislike all of his kin. Most of them were decent Hobbits -- but most of them also didn't appear to like Bilbo and his shenanigans. They were also nosey and liked to get into others' business. The Dwarves were different than what he had become accustomed to during his life as a Hobbit in the Shire, yes. But he did like the group of Dwarves he had travelled with the past year or so.
Especially Thorin. He hadn't expected to like Thorin as much as he did, but he also hadn't expected to travel with a group of Dwarves and a wizard. Life could be full of surprises. Bilbo had learned that.
"Aragorn mentioned knowing some of my kin -- a Frodo Baggins. I do not recall anyone with that name, he must be from the future, the same point Aragorn is from?"
