Quentin didn't plan on asking exactly how it all worked. At least not then anyway. They had a task at hand that was far more important than figuring out how things worked.
"Yeah. That's what it looks like." He poked his head in again and looked to see which way the wires traveled then stepped back and followed the path for a bit, periodically looking in to see how far they had gotten.
"Looks like they are moving in this direction, and they have only gotten about this far. Things look 'normal' from here on that way." He did the air quotes around normal, though he honestly wasn't sure what normal wires looked like. He just knew they didn't have the extra wires and sheathing yet but he knew it was just a matter of time.
He looked back over at George and watched the exchange. He could see the guard was just trying to dig through his memories but this particular situation had never been covered in his training.
He tried to side step the guard who was walking off in what he hoped was the direction of the main breaker but didn't quite make it. That was just not right. He felt himself dissipate like smoke then come back together again. "That was just not right." Quentin just shook his head and walked back over to where George stood. "You know if this doesn't work I'm kinda out of ideas."
