"Those are real?" The words were out of his mouth before he could really think the thought through. "Of course they are..you're right there." HE gestured at the woman in front of him. "Sorry. It's just not the kind of thing you expect to hear you know?" Though Quentin really shouldn't be surprised considering he'd met, and killed, gods.
"The last time that happened, we had to bribe a dragon to send our souls to the Underworld." There was of course a lot more to it than that, but that was the gist of it. "It was weird to see my body just laying there." Other than that, he didn't think it was all that terrible.
"Okay but..." He stopped himself after a particularly loud sound came from behind the wall. "Nevermind. After this, I wanna hear more about being a grim reaper." He glanced around and found a spot to sit down. "Let's do this before whatever is back there finishes the job." Whatever that job might be.
