Who: Jet Slootmaekers and Spencer Reid.
What: Meeting over coffee.
When: Thursday, March 9.
Where: The coffee shop that isn't Starbucks.
Warnings: Likely low.

Jet had enjoyed her last encounter with the man named Spencer Reid. It had been a chance meeting -- it had been her first day in Madison Valley and she had just happened to stop by a coffee shop and approach Spencer. Solely based on the book he had been reading. It wasn't something she usually did, but that book. She had to intervene.

He had proven interesting -- even though he didn't seem too terribly confident in his ability to talk to women. That was fine, really. He didn't put on any airs and he didn't pretend to know how to talk to women. That was a good thing. She was interested in him, yes. He was intelligent and intriguing and it had made her want to talk to him again. In person.

Plus there was the fact he worked for the BAU. For the FBI. That intrigued her as well. She wanted to learn more about him and his job and anything else, really. ...perhaps she was just longing for human interaction.

Jet found a table in the corner of the coffee shop, and settled down there with her pastry and coffee. Waiting.
