Who: Bilbo Baggins and Six. What: Match-up. Where: Hinkles. When: Wednesday, March 1, Elevensies.
Bilbo had yet to find a job. Though, to be fair, he hadn't actually gone out in search of a job. Working wasn't exactly the sort of thing he was accustomed to doing, though he was starting to understand the necessity of it. Especially in a place like this, a place like Madison Valley. He was running out of the money he had been given upon his arrival, and he didn't want to rely on Thorin to survive. He didn't want to make the dwarf feel obligated in any way.
But at the moment, his lack of job meant he had plenty of free time. And he was hungry, currently. It was around time for Elevensies, so he headed toward a place called Hinkles. Funny name, that. He wasn't sure he'd like the food they served, but he liked almost anything. So he was willing to try.
There was a line when he arrived, so he stepped up behind a young girl and set to wait his turn. He could wait quite well.
