Having Crescent and Deuce show up in Madison had been the greatest gifts that she could have been given. Of course, it would be awesome if all of her friends had shown up, but that didn't keep her from being grateful for what she had already been given. Crescent made a lot of things easier for her...perhaps the better phrase was more familiar. Settling in here hadn't been so bad; she had met plenty of people that already seemed to care about her and were willing to look out for her. She also loved the fact that there were so many other different kinds of monsters here. Honestly, she already felt at home here and that had only ever happened to her once before in her life....and that had been at Monster High. One of the things that she had in common with Crescent was a love of running, so she decided to take the little cub out into the woods to have a little fun. Some people might be afraid to go running with woods like that with just a little wolf cub, but Clawdeen was a werewolf....but more than that, she had never been the type to scare easily. And Crescent always seemed to feel safer and more confident whenever Clawdeen was around, which made perfect sense. Because Clawdeen would never allow any harm to come her very first best friend. The two of them had been there for one another for quite some time and that wasn't likely to change any time soon. Clawdeen was stretched out on the ground near a tree, looking up at the stars and Crescent was running in circles around her. The little cub was clearly enjoying her time out of the house, and Clawdeen couldn't help but smile as she now leaned up to watch her. But then they both apparently heard the same thing at the same time, because Clawdeen was on her feet in the blink of an eye and Crescent ran straight to Clawdeen and hid behind her legs. "Is someone there?" Clawdeen called out after leaning down to pick up Crescent. She was preparing to run just in case it came to that. |
