Arriving in Madison Valley presented Eve with one of the biggest surprises of her life. One moment she was walking away from Maze, down the street, in bare feet and the next she was on the sidewalk of an unfamiliar small town. Of course, it didn't take the welcoming committee long to meet up with her and explain everything. Though, there wasn't much to explain since no one knew why Madison Valley pulled people to it. Eve was left with more questions than answers, but her first goal was to get some clothes and shoes then it was to access the network and see who else was here.
After a quick stop into Target, Eve stepped out in jeans, knee high boots, and a simple black top complete with a coat to keep out the winter chill. She really missed LA weather. The brunette started down the sidewalk once more, skimming over the network and eventually posting. Lucky for her there were a ton of people from home here, including Lucifer's daughter, and Eve was both happy and relieved. Not that she couldn't take care of herself, but she was kind of glad she didn't have to. Though, the arrangement did put a damper on her plans to fly solo and find herself. Oh well.
Her conversation with Chloe was confusing and once she spoke to Lucifer, she knew something was going on. Obviously, Eve invited him for drinks to find out what it was. She knew him and something was wrong. Eve's first guess was that it had something to do with Chloe. It always involved Chloe, but with their daughter here, Eve was at a loss as to why something was wrong in the first place. Shouldn't they be happy to be a family? To be together?
Arriving at Verdant, Eve's eyes widened as she took in the club. It was no Lux, but Chloe was right. The atmosphere was perfect for her. Sliding on to a bar stool, the brunette ordered herself an appletini and waited for Lucifer to arrive.
