Madison and Rhys
"I think it is more of a tradition than anything," Madison replied with a shrug. "It's been around so long that people just see it as part of going to a high school dance." Though if they wanted water or something different, Madison figured they could venture to the vending machines.
Madison offered him a rare sympathetic smile. "I'm sorry she's gone." Madison had no one from her world here, but she knew, from observing others, that it was helpful to have someone else who shared your experiences to lean on in Madison Valley. She felt bad that Rhys had lost his someone. "But yeah, don't bother using that power on that punch. We can find you something way better to use it on."
"Yes, this is the Cha-Cha slide." Madison did a few steps to demonstrate, keeping beat and time with the others. "You want to give it a go or sit this one out?"
