Re: Mal Reynolds & Lorna Dane
“Because it’s amusing, and I do enjoy a challenge,” she admitted with a smirk. Lorna wasn’t exactly a big people person, so for her that was fun…most of the time. But she was being nice for once, and that should earn her some brownie points cause this was about as nice as she got for nonmutants who she hadn’t accepted into her social circle yet. “Oh, is that so? Guess I’ll have to be the judge on that, and I’m a very tough judge.” Even if Mal had an ego, she had more than enough friends with it that if he won her over, she could handle it.
Lorna did make a slight face at the last part of his comment. “I’d prefer this place to jail. Been there, and would definitely not give it five stars.” When it came to most of her past, she was upfront and honest. What happened to her in jail, she wasn’t as open about, but she knew how to avoid most of that topic. “I get what you mean though. I’m used to moving around and not being stuck in one place. I don’t do well being a caged animal; however, this place does have some upside to it.” Her mind flashing to Dawn as she said it.
