Settled back in his chair, Xavier surveyed the crowd. Never in his afterlife would he have thought he'd be anywhere else that wasn't Camp Redwood attempting something resembling having a life: meeting people, eventually getting a job, and doing mundane shit that when he had been alive he had taken for granted.
Third date of the evening and he was paired off with someone who had known him, someone whose kid really dug him. Giving Lorna a small smile as she took a seat across from him at the table, he snorted. "If it's any consolation, I'm sorry about not remembering you, or this place.. Lucky us though, I've got five minutes to hear your story."
