Re: Wednesday Addams & Choi Nam-Ra
Nam-Ra was glad to be half way done with the evening. While she liked meeting new people, the whole being social took a lot out of her. There was a reason she enjoyed her nose in books and studying more than hanging out with people. It wasn’t just because she didn’t have any friends…just part of it. Even though she wasn’t here by choice, Nam-Ra was making the most of it, and it was much easier without the language barrier. She was still learning, but she had come a long way.
Sitting down across from her third date, Nam-Ra was getting better on not bowing with people. Her mother would be ashamed but it wasn’t expected in this country. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you, Wednesday. I’m Nam-Ra, and my friend signed me up. I think she was hoping I had a better time than the first time I attended this or I’m hoping that was the reason,” she didn’t want to think it was for anything cruel. “How about yourself? Based on your vocabulary choice around the event, it was a friend who signed you up?”
