Lucky had been very interested in meeting Enid in person from the moment that she had arrived. She really did love that there were so many different types of kids here, and she had always been the furthest thing from judgmental with people. She always just thought that people have different abilities was just a part of life, so why judge people with what they were born with? For her, it really was just that simple. Enid had seemed like a very nice person and that was all Lucky needed to know about her to want to meet in her in person. She had always been the type to make friends easily, so hopefully she and Enid could become friends and maybe they would even have a few other things in common. Only time would tell. Lucky had asked Enid to meet her in the library after school, so that they could talk a bit and get to know one another. If the two of them did become good friends, Enid would learn in time just how much Lucky loved the library and bookstores. She had always been an avid reader, even back home and that was one of the things that hadn't changed upon her arrival here. If anything it had gotten even more pronounced, because she was so eager to learn all that she could about this new world. So, after her last class of the day Lucky had rushed straight to the library and pulled one the books out of her book and began reading. Getting so entranced in her book led Lucky to loose track of time as usual, so she closed her book and stood up. Instantly she began looking around to make sure that she hadn't missed the arrival of Enid; it hadn't been long since classes had ended for the day, but long enough that Enid could have arrived or might be arrive at any moment. So, when Lucky didn't spot her right away she placed her book back in her bag and began watching the entrances. |
