Bilbo was slowly adjusting to life in Madison Valley. Slowly but surely. The fact that he had just been on a year-long adventure with Dwarves had helped his adjustment. Plus the fact that two of the Dwarves were here in town -- Thorin and Fili. He and Thorin were sharing an apartment, which was even more beneficial to the hobbit.
The fact that Thorin was cooking dinner pleased the hobbit -- he knew he ate quite a bit compared to others. Well, to other non hobbits. The fact that Thorin was willing to assist in his eating endeavors meant a lot to Bilbo.
As soon as he heard Thorin calling to him that dinner was ready, he headed down the stairs and into the kitchen. Luckily the kitchen had been modified to be easier to use for the two -- they were shorter than their other Madison Valley counterparts. Especially Bilbo.
"It smells good, Thorin," he said, as he entered the kitchen.
