It wasn't easy to bring Clawdeen down; she had this way of seeing the good in everything. And then there was the fact that this place actually wasn't that bad; she liked Elijah a lot and she had already managed to make one new friend. Since Clawdeen did need to know a few more things about the school here and she wanted to understand more about how Enid's world worked, she was pleased that her new friend had agreed to have coffee with her after school that day. Clawdeen would be starting classes on Monday, but she had went today to get her class schedule, get the tour and peruse the library on her own. After all, she would probably have a lot of catching up to do. Since she hadn't started classes yet, she finished her day before school actually let out so she decided to head on to Starbucks and get herself a snack as well. Her werewolf nature did tend to cause her to have an increased appetite and in her mind it had been entirely too long since she had eaten anything. So, the minute she had made her way through the door she headed right towards the counter and got in the line that had formed there. She was always the patient sort in situations like this, so she simply pulled her phone out and slipped her earbuds in so that she could listen to a song while she waited. And just like that she made her way to the front of the line in no time at all....or at least in her mind. As she made her way up to the counter, she pulled the earbuds from her ears so that she could hear the barista. She ordered herself an herbal iced tea, a large scone and something called a cake-pop that seemed rather interesting. Sure, it wasn't a full meal, but it would certainly tide her over until she could get home and get some dinner for herself. She waited near the counter for her name to be called and once she had her order in hand she made her way towards one of the empty tables. She chose one with a good view of the door, so that she would be able to see when Enid arrived. |
