Gibbs had been checking out some of the local shops to get things for his apartment and for his new little hobby room he was creating. Leave it to Leroy Jethro Gibbs to turn his living room into a make-shift bedroom and then turn the bedroom into a work room. He had never been good with idle hands and such, so he had known the moment that he realized he was stuck here for the time being, that he would have to have something to do. If he wasn't able to do his usual kind of work, then he would have to find something else to pass the time. It hadn't taken him long to figure who what that would be either. He had always enjoyed his wood-working and in recent years back home he had even started making things for others. So, why not turn that into a way to support himself here? But he still had quite a bit to do to get the apartment the way that he wanted it, so he had decided that the best way to start was make a list of the things he would need and get the shopping done. If he was to miss something or need more of something later he could always go back and get it. He wasn't a huge fan of shopping in places like Wal-Mart either, so he had explored so of the local shops and was doing his level best to get everything from those kinds of places. It just suited him better and he really did hate the crowds and lack of customer service in the bigger chain places. So, with that in mind he had explored all of downtown and made notes of the places he would like to visit....and then in true Gibbs fashion, he had organized a schedule for himself to check out each one. This morning he would be checking out Stoney Lonesome Outfitters, because it had been the type of store that he couldn't just leave off the list. So, after having his morning coffee and some breakfast he made his way inside the store and had a look around. It seemed like his kind of place, and he had a feeling he would be spending a fair amount of money here. With that in mind, he double checked to make sure he still had his wallet, and then began making his way down the aisles. |
