WHO: Klaus Mikaelson and OPEN Alyssa Gardiner WHAT: Having a peaceful drink...maybe WHEN: Today WHERE: Verdant WARNINGS: Low STATUS: Open/Complete
Klaus was glad that the holidays were over. Not because he disliked them in any way as they were, but because he was always afraid that any gathering with his family and those close enough to be called family would end in some sort of disaster or bloodbath. It had in the past, and there was every chance it would again. Of course, he often had nobody to blame for these bloodbaths but himself...well, himself and the people who had stupidly poked at him and caused his temper to erupt.
Anyway.
He had made it through this holiday season peacefully, which was what he wanted. For Hope. It had been hard enough for her to lose her mother again when this place had sent her home, she really didn't need to be involved in any bloody Mikaelson family drama.
He'd had no desire to spend New Year's Eve at a bar, but now that the eve was over, he found himself at Verdant, nursing a glass of whiskey and scrolling through the network on his phone. It was fairly quiet today - he assumed that most humans were still in bed with terrible hangovers - he'd seen the same thing after Mardi Gras when he'd lived in New Orleans.
