Oliver certainly was more understanding these days, just because of the things he had been through in his own life already. And then there was the fact that he had always been a little more open minded than most people gave him credit for. Lastly there was the fact that he felt that he didn't have the right to judge anyone else, what with all of the mistakes he had made over the years.
"We are making progress in the right direction....at least, I think we are" he answered, honestly. Sure he might be a little picky about what parts he revealed, but he wouldn't out right light. He had enough of that back home. Now that he was finished with being a vigilante, he couldn't help feeling that one of the biggest upsides was not having to out right lie to the people that he cared about.
"I couldn't agree more" he answered, nodding his head slightly. It was nice to be able to let his hair down...so to speak, and he could completely understand why she would feel the same.
