Liam | Rowan
Rowan couldn’t help the hint of red that came over her cheeks at the comment along with the big smile that showed up on her face. “I’m very glad to hear that. I guess you get to live to see another day,” she couldn’t help herself on the second comment, kissing him softly after laughing. It did show the level of comfort from Rowan, showing they had come a long way since Rowan had to work through more than enough issues when it came to her love life. But Liam had done nothing but help her and be there for her rather than dragging her down, which is another reason he was someone special to her. That, and he could take a joke since there is no way she’d ever hurt him or let anyone close to her do that.
Listening to the reason, she could understand, but she was also still a bit in disbelief. Part of that coming from how she was pretty much always in one when growing up because of her big sister being addicted to them. “My sister would be judging my taste in guys right now,” she joked. Well, okay, that was partly true but mainly because of her past track record rather than that. “My sister used to drag me with her when we were younger to one, which is the reason I’ve been to a few. She was the gamer in the family,” she missed Brie, but at least, Rowan knew she’d be out of jail when she returned. “Okay, so you’ve played video games, which ones are your favorite type? We can start with those games.”
