Liam | Rowan
Rowan could understand that completely on not wanting to think about certain things from back home. This town was better for her, and part of the reason she kept hoping friends from back home would show up here. Yes, it’d be awkward with one or two of them, thanks to history, and the fact of Liam, but that was something she could deal with. What she had with Liam was both healthy and with no bad history tied to things, making it less complicated. Something she really needed in her life after everything.
“And here I thought you’d use me going to say hey as a way to make your quick escape,” she joked. For Rowan being able to make that type of joke showed that she had become comfortable in their relationship and trusted him. The fact she trusted him said a lot, especially after everything and the people who let her down. Ordering herself a soda, she turned with her eyes open in shock at his comment. “Wait, seriously?!?!” Her tone in disbelief, shaking her head. “Is there a reason you’ve never been in one? Maybe where you’re from don’t have them?” Or maybe they were outdated? She didn’t voice that out, but Rowan was very much curious and already planning to change that tonight for Liam and making sure he played all the different games here.
