Re: Barbara & Dick
Barbara could also admit along with Jim Gordon that Batman was needed, even if she really didn’t want to admit that. Then again, she felt Dick was a much better option for protecting any place over Bruce from their different ways of handling issues. The alternate universe concept was fascinating to her, especially when thinking about it from the point of view of herself or the people she cared about.
When she saw the smirk, she smiled since she was glad to see that not only was he on board, but that he seemed to be relaxing a bit. “Always, huh? Would you like me to sign something being you’re a fan?” She teased, taking a sip of her drink before answering his question. “Well, since we’re upstanding people of the law,” she said with a head nod, fighting back the laugh that wanted to slip out from even saying that considering some of their past actions, “we can always hang out here for a bit, then bail and maybe have a little sparring session only make it a bit more interesting by putting a wager on it. Not that it matters since we know I’ll win.” Shrugging as if she was stating a fact, looking away from him so she could keep a straight face. The fact he never thought twice about her disability or even held back when they had a sparring session for fun was one of the things she liked about him.
