Re: Alec/Mary
Mary didn't like to think of herself as having an evil side, but she wasn't naive enough to think it didn't exist. She guessed it would be similar to what her son experienced or what she was like when she was possessed by a demon.
The blond simply enjoyed the closeness too. The fact that she hadn't managed to step on Alec's feet yet was a miracle in itself. Not that it mattered if she did. The two of them would just laugh it off. They had that kind of relationship.
"Thanks, Alec," Mary replied softly. When he leaned in to kiss her, she returned it softly. Would she ever get tired of kissing him? Mary didn't think so. She loved being around him because she could be herself with him. There weren't any preconceived notions of the Mary she was supposed to be. She could just be this version and he liked it.
Mary smiled. "I love you too, Alec. By the way," she replied. Because it was clear and one of the things Mary knew for was absolutely true in this place.
