Re: Alyssa | Damien
Alyssa would be surprised if Damien didn't need time. Sure, the Netherling might not have super strength or speed, but her powers came from nature and Wonderland, which made them a different from anything Damien knew from his world. When push came to shove, she could hold her own in a fight, as Damien knew well. But, if Damien wanted someone who wouldn't challenge him or had no powers, he'd chosen to care about the wrong fairy girl. Because Alyssa couldn't pretend to be anyone other than who she was.
"The good news is, you won't hear their lectures. Only me. And I know better than to tell you what they say. Although," she looked a little devious, "One did mention how hot you look in your suit." Her butterfly friend made herself scarce once Damien arrived. She knew how loss felt, although not as keenly as Damien. After all, soon enough her human children would die and their children while Alyssa kept right on living in this body, forever a young adult.
"Thank you." Alyssa's eyed Damien. "I know it's a lot." Especially since she could control the insects, flowers, and plants if she truly wanted to do so.
Somehow, Alyssa didn't think she'd tire of kissing Damien in the slightest. "How the hell do you make the word agreement sound sexy?" Yes, she still had her hands on Damien. "But now we have." Alyssa should probably find it weird how Damien saw their relationship, but given his background, she understood. Mostly. "I already knew I was the luckiest because I get to tear this suit off you in a few hours," she responded softly.
